Hey everybody!
Sorry for the hiatus! I was super busy the last few months finishing up wedding
plans—and also getting married! But, I’m back and ready chat about all the amazing
books I’ve been reading.
I want to
start with a sweet and steamy read by Brittainy Cherry—Eleanor
and Grey! This book blew me out of the water. Brittainy’s books are
always so masterfully put together, and it’s crystal clear to every reader that
she poured her heart into every word. Eleanor and Grey are an unlikely duo that
meet in high school and whose relationship evolves into something beautiful and
greater than words. Life isn't kind to them, though, and after many years they
find themselves together again, but under much different circumstances. If you
want to read about two soulmates who learn to overcome their grief together, this
is the book for you!
Work
in Progress by Staci Hart is one of my favs of the year thus far! The
RLC (Red Lipstick Coalition) girls all have their own books that can be read independently
but live in the same book world! Sweet, shy Amelia agrees to help out a well-known
author—Thomas Bane—by, wait for it, marrying
him. She just has to stop herself from falling in love with him for real. All
the RLC books would be perfect spring reads, and I suggest you binge them all
from start to finish before the final installment—Well Suited—comes out on May 2nd!
If you are
a parent, you absolutely MUST read Be
the Girl by K.A. Tucker. If you are a teacher, a friend, a family
member of someone with autism—you MUST read this book. This is one of the most
important books of the year. It should be taught in high school English classes
everywhere. The story is beautiful, and tragic, and everyone should read this
book. End of story.
I just
recently finished A
Lesson in Thorns, and it may be the best written erotic fictions I’ve
ever read. There are so many ways to categorize this book, but to do so would
take away from its mystery. If you like romance—and erotic romance at that—you need
to check this one out. It’s strange in a beautiful and fantastic way. The
children of Thornchapel are back together as adults, and you absolutely need to know what happens when they’re
all under the same roof once again.
For something
light and quick, and something to get you ready for those hot summer months—you
won't be disappointed with Kandi Steiner’s Palm
South University series! They’re all five star reads for me, and you’ll
tear through the pages wanting to know what happens next!
Most anticipated:
I just got
my hands on Defy
Me by Tahereh Mafi and I can't wait to dive into that one! Jumping back
into this series is like coming back to an old friend each and every time.
I JUST
found out that I received an arc of Say
You Still Love Me by K.A. Tucker and I cannot keep my cool about it. This
title will be releasing in August and you’re going to want to add this to your
TBR and preorder this bad boy right. now.
As always,
I can't wait for some of the upcoming releases for some of my one-click, order
the second I find out about it, favorite ladies:
Kandi Steiner has a new series coming our
way that I can't share the details on just yet, but keep an eye on her insta
for updates!: dates TBD
As I
mentioned above, Staci Hart’s Well
Suited will be coming to a Kindle near you on: May 2nd
Tarryn
Fisher’s first traditionally published book, The
Wives: December 30th
