Review of Where Bad Boys Are Ruined

By: Holly Renee

“Brandon is the devil.”
“But he's a handsome devil, huh?”

HOLLY. First of all, you have cemented yourself as one of my favorite authors. You have written some of my favorite characters of all time, and I sincerely hope you never stop.

Diving back in to The Good Girls Series is as simple as slipping back into those old habits when you’re seeing a good friend for the first time in a while. Forbidden Ink feels like a home away from home. Livy and Staci found their happily ever afters with Parker and Mason, but at the end of Where Bad Girls Go to Fall all I could think about was when Brandon would get his HEA as well.

Well, hot damn, Charlie Walters walks in and everything Brandon thought he knew goes flying right out the window. He’s the man that never dates, the so-called player, and uninterested in commitment. Charlie is a good girl who wants to keep her distance from the tall dark and handsome tattoo artist next door, but she keeps finding herself tied up in sticky situations. I’m not kidding—she’s opening a bakery next to Forbidden Ink.

“Any man that can screw you up so badly that you bake like this is probably worth a bit of heartbreak.”

Okay, Charlie’s mom is incredible.

The back and forth between Charlie and Brandon is exciting, and fun, and steamy. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the moment they would finally give in to temptation, and boy was it worth the wait.

I don’t want to ruin the angst, so I’ll try to keep spoilers out of the review, but:

“The Ferris wheel took off again, and Brandon and I made out like a couple of horny teenagers who couldn’t get enough of each other.”

You need to read this for the baking fights, the tattoos, and the incredible romance that blossoms inside the pages. Holly, you did an incredible job bringing us back into this world. It felt like it had only been minutes since the gang had last been together, and that’s not an easy feat.

Thank you again for the ARC, and for your wonderful words.
