Top 11 books so far
this year:
I was inspired to
write this post when I saw Wandereader
post his fav books he’s read so far in 2018. (Love you, Chase!)
Listed in no
particular order, here are my favs from January-July 2018:
K.A.
Tucker NEVER disappoints. Keep Her Safe warmed my heart and kept me guessing
until the end.
HOLY
SHIT. That’s all I'm going to say about this one.
This
series is the most original story I’ve read in YEARS. Nothing like it—seriously.
I
was nervous that this would take away from the first three books and I WAS
WRONG. I am (im)patiently awaiting the next two installments in this world.
B.
Cherry blew me away. Also, v impressed with her ability to write a super cold
character with a heart of gold underneath. That can end up cheesy, but she did
it with grace and wit.
Karla,
this was hot. It was also swoon worthy.
I
loved this book. And found out Fiona and I share a hometown!
This
book was outside my normal reads, and I’m so glad I gave it a chance. Currently
reading an ARC of the second installment!
Read
my review and you’ll hear more about how these books SLAYED me.
Kandi,
the Queen of Angst, the Author Who Makes Her Readers Sweat in Anticipation.
My
first Staci Hart novel, and certainly not my last. I can't wait to read more
stories of the girl gang I fell in love with in this book. Also, the art world
is fascinating!
These
are my top 11! Yes, I know I cheated and some entries are duets but
THESE
AUTHORS DESERVE ALL THE LOVE.
Some
of the authors on this list have some releases coming up in the second half of
the year and I’d bet that some of those beauties (I’m lookin’ at you “The
Simple Wild”) end up on my second half of the year favs list.
All
books mentioned above can be purchased by clicking on the book title!
