Salt
By Hannah Moskowitz
“Being a sic is a good life.”
“There are a lot of good lives,” I say.
I can honestly say that Salt is one of the most original books I’ve read in a REALLY long time. The four main characters are orphan, sea-monster hunters who are trying to find their way in a world they don’t understand. They’re forced to grow up too fast, and they use the bits and pieces of the languages they were learning to communicate in a tongue that’s indecipherable to anyone outside of their foursome. And they are so sompletely lovable.
